6 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling Sacrifice 2021

5. It Was All By Design

Rhino has returned to Impact Wrestling and aligned himself with Violent By Design.

'The Man Beast' resurfaced during VBD members' Deaner and Joe Doering bout against Chris Sabin and James Storm, appearing to save Sabin from a three-on-one beatdown while referee Brian Hebner was knocked down. Instead, he Gored the former World Champion, joining the Eric Young-led faction.

As a whole, this was actually quite a decent match. Sabin and Storm, who had Jake Something in their corner, were kept on their toes because Joe Doering is, quite simply, a behemoth. They didn't have a chance to come up with a plan, and they knew that. Of course, the former All Japan ace is exactly that; ace. His slick flying crossbody to Sabin saw him execute the move and roll out of the ring in one swift motion, and was followed up by Deaner's diving headbutt. They've gelled so well as a team in their last few showings.

Impact Wrestling have made you care about Rhino in 2021. 'The War Machine' debuted in 1995 and hasn't ever achieved the same level of popularity since his days in ECW. This is a win for the company, this is a win for Rhino, and this is a win - literally and figuratively - for Violent By Design.
