6 Ups & 4 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (May 31)
2. Pointless Continuation
This whole thing is going in completely the wrong direction.
Last week, Rosemary stated that she was finished with this whole Father James Mitchell nonsense as she appeared to set her sights on Taya Valkyrie's Knockouts Championship. If she was that insistent on being done with Mitchell, then why was she so willing to meet with the devil himself? We all know what he’s capable of, and he showed some of that here.
James gave us all a history lesson relating to the death of Allie (because we don’t hear about it enough apparently), but he tried to twist the story to make The Demon Assassin feel responsible for her best friend's demise. It didn’t work though, as Rosemary choked Mitchell and kept possession of Su Yung.
Why isn’t this all over? Last week was the perfect next chapter for Rosemary, having her return to the Knockouts Championship picture. The only bad part of that moment last week was the fact that she’s still got Su, which is preventing Yung from being allowed to compete. Why can’t Rosemary just let Su Yung go and get on with her life? Enough of this. Please.
