6 Ups & 5 Downs From Impact Wrestling (16 March)

4. Slappin' Meat

Rhino vs. Jake Something was a short contest, but it nonetheless delivered. Eric Young, Joe Doering, Deaner, Chris Sabin, and James Storm surrounded ringside, as a potential eight-man tag team match looms if Something, Sabin, and Storm can find themselves a fourth partner.

'The War Machine' has been unleashed by Violent By Design, wrestling a tad more vicious than he typically would. Beating away on Jake Something with some stiff strikes, it took a mere forearm from Jake before VBD members began getting involved. As things unfolded at ringside, a single Gore put Jake away, before the Eric Young-led faction laid waste to their three adversaries post-match. Everyone ate a Gore, and it was f*cking delightful to see.

Your writer was pleasantly surprised by Rhino here. In a way, he's been saved by Violent By Design. Last year, he was just there. He wasn't doing anything of note. Now, he is. 'The Man Beast' was on fire in this match. Nothing too special, but it worked anyway. More of this sort of thing, please.
