The minute your writer discovered that The Creed Brothers' next challenge would come in the form of the no-nonsense wrestling purists Imperium, a feeling of giddy excitement was soon replaced by dread. Were this any other organisation, an impressive showing from both sides followed by a decisive conclusion would be enough to send everyone home happy. Yet, this isn't any other organisation.

Sure enough, the two hard-hitting units beat seven lumps of sh*t out of each other, with Julius and Brutus dipping into their gut-wrench pool time and time again in response to Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner's attempts to blister their chest with chops and kicks.

Things were escalating quite nicely, with Roderick Strong's interference still not dampening the action going down in the ring. However, KUSHIDA and Ikemen Jiro soon decided they'd seen enough, springing down to stave off Diamond Mine's influence and inadvertently costing The Creed Brothers' the match after causing their own distraction.

Clearly wanting to take our attention away from the fact yet another seemingly enthralling bout had been tarnished by cowardly booking, MSK were tasked with jumping the team that attacked them from behind a few weeks ago. But, fans were quick to point out how much they "suck" because, well, what they did just so happened to suck.

Having your champs attack a unit from behind after a match is heel 101, regardless of it being retaliation or not, and the fact Imperium are now set to battle the NXT Tag Title holders at Halloween Havoc next week, after this cheap win, doesn't add much prestige to either the straps or the division as a whole.
