In the Money in the Bank column, there was a debate over whether to mark Alexa Bliss winning the briefcase as an up or a down. Ultimately, it was determined she was the right person given the role she plays.

Monday, Bliss lived up to that role, antagonizing the hell out of Ronda Rousey by mocking her, rubbing the title in her face, and calling her an overhyped rookie. And that led to Rousey snapping and laying the new Raw Women’s Champion out with strikes, briefcase shots and a powerbomb through a table.

Just like that, Bliss showed why she’s the champion so often on WWE TV: It’s easy to dislike her. She plays the role perfectly, and this time, she got what was coming to her.
