Last night was not a good night for WWE women’s wrestling. A disappointing kickoff show match and two lackluster title contests dotted the Backlash card, and none really stood out for the right reasons.

Monday, Sasha Banks, Ruby Riott and Ember Moon put together a solid triple threat match for a Money in the Bank ladder match spot. Moon and Banks showed flashes that made you want to see the two of them in a lengthy one-on-one match with some real stakes. Riott hung in there and redeemed herself from her poor kickoff show match Sunday night.

Ember managed to hit the Eclipse on Ruby, stunning Sasha as well, for the win. She has to be a favorite given her athletic ability and strong standing since her callup last month.
