Kevin Nash has almost always been in a place of authority. In WWE, he was a part of the backstage Kliq with Shawn Michaels, Scott Hall, X-Pac, and Triple H, while in WCW, he eventually got creative control, dictating what he and several other wrestlers would do on a weekly basis on Nitro.

All of that power can easily go to your head, and that's certainly what seems to have happened to Nash. Like a lot of the pro wrestling stars from the '90s, he suffered from substance abuse addiction. His wasn't as bad as his pal Hall, but it's still a sore spot.

It was probably a desire to uphold a clean lifestyle which led to Nash spending part of Christmas Eve 2014 behind bars after he and his son Tristen came to physical blows. Supposedly, Tristen had been incredibly drunk, which Nash was having none of.

He claims that his son started the altercation while Tristen alleged that Nash had used his wrestling skills at home. After Nash was taken away, Tristen is reported to have had a confrontation with his mother Tamara as well.

Fresh off the heels of the Ray Rice headlines in the NFL, in which the footballer attacked his wife, WWE felt it best to suspend Nash until the case was settled. Big Sexy was none too pleased, but he was back in WWE's good books soon enough.
