7 Must-See Bobby 'The Brain' Heenan WWE Moments

2. Andre's Face Turn

If siding with Bobby Heenan turned a wrestler into a mega-heel instantaneously, then standing up to The Brain would immediately make you a hero in fans’ eyes.

That’s exactly what happened at WrestleMania VI, when Andre The Giant, after sliding further down the card to a tag team wrestler, had enough of Heenan. The Colossal Connection (Andre and Haku) lost their WWF Tag Team Championships to Demolition at WM VI, and Heenan lost it on Andre. He poked his finger in the Giant’s chest while berating him – and then he slapped Andre.

Big mistake.

Andre wasted little time in annihilating Heenan, to the delight of the crowd. He tossed Bobby and Haku off the cart and rode back to the dressing room soaking in cheers from fans who just moments early were mercilessly booing him. That was the power of Bobby Heenan, instantly returning Andre to hero status after converting him three years earlier.
