7 Reasons WWE Won't Bring Kurt Angle Back

7. Eight Years Away Means Some Fans May Have Forgotten Him

WWE.comWWE.comEight years is a long time. That's how long it has been since Angle was in WWE. He was officially released from his WWE deal on August 25, 2006. If you ask him he'll say he quit, but WWE says that he was released. Either way, it was a mutual decision because they felt it was time for him to go and he was ready to leave. A few months later, Angle was in TNA Wrestling. A lot has changed in WWE in the last eight years. While guys like John Cena and Randy Orton had feuds with Angle when they were on their way up, there's a roster full of talent that never worked for him. Many WWE fans watching right now may not remember Angle or some may not even know who he is. Brock Lesnar came back to WWE after eight years out of the company, but when Lesnar was gone he was main eventing UFC shows that did over 1 million buys meaning that he was still in the public eye. Angle has been working for a company that has been struggling to stay alive. All that time away could hurt Angle's case to return to WWE.
