7 Tag Teams AEW Should Sign
1. Briscoe Brothers
Despite being 11-time ROH World Tag Team Champions, the Briscoe Brothers have never made an appearance in a major American wrestling promotion.
WWE did finally come knocking in 2009, but decided they were not "cosmetically pleasing" enough for WWE television. The biggest promotion Mark and Jay ever wrestled for was actually NJPW, where they had numerous matches with the Bullet Club and The Elite. This further solidifies their relationship with The Elite (and therefore potentially AEW) that also shows with them being included in the card for All In.
They also were a part of last year's Chris Jericho's "Rock N Wrestling Rager At Sea" which featured predominantly what is now AEW talent. The exceptions to the rule are instead very close with various members of The Elite and frequent the "who AEW will sign" rumour mills.
All the speculation aside, if AEW is really going to try to be the greatest home for tag teams it feels like a disservice to not let Jay and Mark be a part of that. And with their past transgressions with WWE, I am sure they would happily help in the battle to win the Wednesday Night Wars.
And with a history with ROH dating back to their first show and steadily working with them since 2006, it is safe to say they have accomplished just about all they can. And the company should reward that loyalty with their blessing to move on.
Dem Boys need to become All Elite.
