7 Things Roman Reigns Must Do To Win Over Fans
7. Stop Giving Him So Many Chances!
In all of WWE, no one has main-evented more pay-per-views over the past two years than Roman Reigns has. This is despite the fact that he plays a good guy, and yet receives more heat than any heel in the company.
We’ve seen him screwed out of the title multiple times, we’ve seen him lose matches fairly, and yet, he always comes right back for his next opportunity. Get to the back of the line for once!
On The Sept. 5 Raw, Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins were set for their big match at Clash of Champion. It was a natural build with Rollins out for revenge against The Authority and against the man who seemingly took his spot.
Then, despite no one asking for it, Roman was teased to be inserted into the match. And because Mick Foley likes angering the fans, he obliged and gave him a chance to enter the main event at Night of Champions. It didn't pan out, but having him NOT involved in the match was downright shocking. You could hear thousands of fans breathe a sigh of relief when he was pinned. That's not the reaction WWE wants from us.
It’s like the company is terrified to not have Roman in a top spot for a single month, otherwise they think fans will...I don’t know forget he exists or something? If John Cena can stay almost entirely out of the main event scene these past couple years, then Roman can certainly miss out now and then, and it will help us not feel like he's being shoved down our throats.
