The Dark Order has been in need of a rejig for a good while now, and it's been encouraging in the past few weeks to see something changing with the group.
This week's Collision featured a vignette where Evil Uno, John Silver and Alex Reynolds let us know that Dark Order are there for you... but not forever.
It was short, it was sweet, but this serves up questions about where things are going for the trio. And let's face it, questions are never a bad thing, particularly where it pertains to an act that had grown stale.
However, it wasn't just the Dark Order who had some progression on this latest Collision. Don Callis revealed that he's calling on Will Ospreay to join Konosuke Takeshita and Sammy Guevara against Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, and Kota Ibushi at WrestleDream; Eddie Kingston challenged Katsuyori Shibata at WrestleDream, with the Mad King putting both the ROH World Title and NJPW STRONG Openweight Title on the line; Matt Taven and Mike Bennett brilliantly made the most of their minutes in a pre-taped promo lining them up against Best Friends; there was another look at the Righteous; Ortiz got to comment on the beef between him and former partner Mike Santana; Shane Taylor got to detail some of his history with Keith Lee ahead of Limitless going one-on-one with Lee Moriarty; and the hot and flexible CJ pleaded with Miro to not decimate anyone she ends up managing.
All of the above were kept brief, but they all kept things ticking along nicely and served as a semblance of progression for all of the talents involved.
