7 Ups & 5 Downs From IMPACT Wrestling Under Siege 2021

1. It Belongs To Us

Kenny Omega vs. Moose. That’s going to rule, and it goes down on 12 June at Against All Odds.

The match acted as the perfect way to set up Moose as the guy. That he started the match by challenging the other five guys to come at him is how you create a star; having him actually take down all of these guys is a step above where it needed to be. His focus on Chris Sabin’s leg that he had surgery on brought a solid end to the match, too. He hit two Spears on the limb and followed up with a third normally. He hooked the injured leg to prevent a kickout.

The other biggest story here saw Sami Callihan’s victory attempt thwarted by the Good Brothers. He was laid out as he attempted a Package Piledriver, leading to Moose’s win. Callihan cussed post-match, uttering bullsh*t as he left ringside. This wasn’t bleeped either, as it shouldn’t have been. Sami is simply on another level.

What Moose said upon his win teased a babyface turn. He isn’t coming for what belongs to him, but rather for what belongs to “us”, referring to IMPACT Wrestling as a whole. This is the story Moose vs. Omega needs for Against All Odds, especially considering ‘The Wrestling God’ could be done with IMPACT after then.

Christ, hook Moose vs. Omega to your writer’s veins.
