If Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson had climbed into their car and left after beating up the New Day, it wouldve been a successful week for them. But the duo wasnt done yet.

During John Cenas triumphant return to WWE after being out for five months with a shoulder injury, AJ Styles came out to welcome him back. Fans lapped up the dream match factor of seeing Styles and Cena together, but it looked more like a mutual admiration society than a budding rivalry.

Thankfully, Anderson and Gallows came to ringside to challenge them, leading to Styles blindsiding Cena and the Club reuniting (after being disbanded for an entire week) to demolish Big Match John. Styles really cemented his turn, rushing the ring three times after initially leaving, to continue the beating. At one point, he yelled, Im doing the world a favor! Youre welcome, world!

Combined with looking like a top-level star even in a losing effort to Roman Reigns, it looks like Styles is set up to be a top-flight heel. Now, if the Club can be booked to be more than just punching bags and be a real force in WWE, the company could have something here. Itll be interesting to see how a Styles/Cena match (presumably at Money in the Bank) turns out.
