7 Ups And 10 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (June 29th)

2. His Delusionalness

King Barrett€™s descent into delusion is continuing at an alarming rate. After winning a hastily assembled King of the Ring tournament, Barrett is convinced he€™s a real king and can give royal decrees. Monday, Barrett insisted that his opponents bow down to him before each match. Somehow, it€™s tough to take the guy who has lost repeatedly to the guy carrying a plunger and wearing a paper crown seriously. Previous wrestling kings have made similar proclamations, but if you look at the most successful Kings of the Ring, they didn€™t spend months trying to get people to genuflect. They used the KOTR victory as a springboard for their career. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2JjbE7FoEsk For King Barrett, there doesn€™t seem to be a springboard, just a burgeoning feud with the plunger-wielding R-Truth. At least he beat the hapless former world champion Jack Swagger Monday.
