2. Things Go From Seated To Heated

Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher find themselves with a shot at becoming the latest duo to wear NXT Tag Team gold next week as they takes on the current high-flying Champions MSK.

However, if this week's seated face-to-face discussion was anything to go by, Toothless Timmy and Ol' Man Ciampa are far from the underdogs in this equation. With the former NXT Champion back to his sparkling best on the stick, Ciampa declared that nobody elevated gold quite like him and confessed that double T is hungry for a belt.

Hats off to MSK for attempting to save some face by cutting off the Toothless One mid sentence and demanding some respect be put on the defending champs' names. But it's clear that those inside of the CWC are backing the challengers here and it's not hard to see why.

Is it time to strap the unexpectedly white hot unit of Timmy and Tommaso? Said victory could pave the way for a desperate MSK doing everything in their power to claw back to the top and maybe even leaning into the heel turn that those in attendance seem to be nudging them towards week after week.

Whatever comes next, expect this to be MSK's toughest challenge to date.
