7 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (August 24th)
3. Face Turn #87?
One can only guess, but after watching Big Show get taken out by two of his teammates and then decimated by his opponents after the eight-man tag match, it leaves the door open for Show to either become a good guy again or just continue on as the hapless villain who got manhandled again. Show has been winding down his in-ring career for some time now, as hes been reduced to feuding over the Intercontinental Championship rather than competing for the world title. That (or forming a tag team and going after the tag titles) is probably for the best at this stage of his career, but the problem Show faces is that hes switched from hero to villain so many times that fans are barely phased by it anymore. Its lost its impact. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WV9NdHLcQz4 While its unlikely that Show is going to suddenly have an epiphany and turn face after being beat up, hes flipped so many times that you can never figure out what is going to cause him to suddenly change camps. And given how tiresome these turns have become through the years, that earns negative marks here.
