Shayna Baszler’s sit-down interview with Charly Caruso looked like it was going to be a painful segment to sit through, with Baszler quietly intimidating the interviewer in a dimly lit in-ring situation.

And then Becky Lynch struck. Literally.

From out of the shadows, The Man waffled Baszler with a steel chair, then popped her again for good measure before leaving, making her point clear that she was not going to let her challenger get the best of her. The visual of the chairshot coming out of darkness was really cool, as it took a second to realize what happened, even though it was obvious.

It’s still unknown how this will go, as Shayna should theoretically win the Raw Women’s Championship after such a dominant performance at Elimination Chamber, but her debut on the main roster has been underwhelming in other ways, and Lynch is one of WWE’s most marketable stars.
