2. Carrillo Hangs With The Champ

Losing your debut match is not normally what you’d call a success, but let’s remind everyone: John Cena lost his first match to Kurt Angle.

So for Humberto Carrillo, losing to WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins shouldn’t be looked at as a negative. Carrillo mouthed off a little, Rollins called him on it and challenged him, and Humberto hung with the champ in a decent little match.

The outcome really wasn’t in doubt – unless Bray Wyatt was going to defy the brand separation and cause a distraction – so all you could hope for was a few near-falls for Carrillo, which he got, hitting a few nice springboards and dives, and a picture-perfect moonsault.

WWE clearly is banking on the fresh-faced luchador by giving him this spot, and he definitely showed promise.
