OK, were going to list this one as a down with the understanding that it could just have been part of the bigger plan, but it certainly didnt look good without any explanation.

Once AJ Styles announced that John Cena would face Karl Anderson, you had to wonder how Anderson would do against Cena, and whether this could be a spotlight moment for the superstar. Instead, it was an utter and complete route by Cena. Big Match John demolished Anderson, who never got in a single offensive move during the match. Cena pummeled him while looking up the ramp to see if Styles and Luke Gallows would interfere.

And sure enough, the duo did interfere after Cena hit the Attitude Adjustment, saving Anderson from a pinfall loss. But why didnt he get to mount any offense of any kind? Was it an edict from Styles that he make sure he lose quickly so the Club could then assault Cena? If so, then this makes a little more sense.

Otherwise, WWE booked one of its top tag team wrestlers to look more like SD Jones against King Kong Bundy at WrestleMania I.
