7 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Sept 14th)

6. When Angle Advancement Is Good

Ordinarily, rapid-fire segments where planned matches are scrapped due to a scrum and then quickly brushed aside are more aggravating than anything else. But a brief in-ring segment involving Neville, Stardust and their seconds helped set up a mini-feud that might not set the world on fire, but it could be fun. Stardust recently had partnered with the Ascension, forming a mini-stable of mediocrity. Still, Stardust€™s feud with Neville would pay dividends, with the Lucha Dragons getting dragged into the mix on Smackdown. Things broke down Monday when a scheduled Stardust/Neville match got scuttled, but it set up a six-man tag match for the Night of Champions kickoff show. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8LyJexiat7U Again, while this isn€™t the kind of feud that€™s going to be exceptionally memorable, you€™ve got to appreciate the rapid booking to give this match a coherent background. Here€™s hoping we get a decent match out of the deal too.
