7 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Sept 14th)

5. We Stay With New Day

How good is the trio of Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods right now? The New Day successfully retained its WWE Tag Team Championships Monday night against the Prime Time Players in a match that actually seemed like a formality before the champs face the Dudley Boys at Night of Champions. But it wasn€™t just the successful title defense by New Day that garners kudos. It isn€™t just Xavier€™s trombone €“ although his rendition of the Pink Panther theme while Big E crept up on Darren Young was outstanding. It€™s all of that, plus Big E€™s snow angels in the ring, plus the fact that these guys quite simply are the most entertaining part of Raw. They cheat nonstop, Xavier is obnoxious on the outside, and they manage to win over and over. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgHX8AYndRA They€™re success could be summed up by the hot Memphis crowd firing off a dueling €œLet€™s go New Day/New Day sucks!€ chant. Hopefully this doesn€™t mean that John Cena will talk to the brass about New Day honing in on his market.
