Sooooo… the Lucha Dragons are no more, except when they are, right?

As Sin Cara prepared to serve as Baron Corbin’s sacrificial lamb, the announcers noted that the Dragons had agreed to go their separate ways and pursue singles careers. This came a few months after Kalisto had two reigns as United States Champion and Sin Cara competed in an Intercontinental Championship ladder match at WrestleMania XXXII. So they clearly could pursue singles careers while still part of a tag team.

But still, the Dragons felt that they needed to end their tag team to chase individual goals. And then after Sin Cara fell to Corbin Monday, Kalisto ran out to save his friend from a post-match beatdown – only to be attacked himself. So the broken-up Lucha Dragons both were punked out by Baron and left lying, but they no longer need to be partnered so they can pursue singles careers.

Trying to think logically hurts sometimes.
