7. A Lady Never Tells?

Nia Jaxx women

This might be a stupid observation, but it deserves a quick mention.

Recently, ring announcer JoJo has started including something in her introductions for Nia Jax that she does for no other female: her weight. (For the record, she was announced at 272 pounds.) But you’ll never hear a weight announced for Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair or Bayley.

It’s clear that they’re announcing Nia’s billed weight because she’s so much bigger than her opponents, and it makes her seem like even more of a monster. But either do it for all the women or do it for none of them. It’s a bit silly to not announce their weights. While there’s an old stigma about not revealing a woman’s weight, the fact is that these women are athletes.

Female fighters in UFC have to make weight. The WNBA’s rosters list the players’ weights. WWE should go all-in, or just stop mentioning Jax’s weight.
