7 Ups And 9 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (April 1)

1. So Bad It’s… Really Bad

The pull-apart, arrest-fest and backstage police battle royal featuring Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey will go down in WWE history… for all the wrong reasons.

The brawl was so comically over the top that you couldn’t help but almost laugh. All three women lost their cool, fought until cops showed up, got handcuffed, jawed and fought the cops, battled backstage and damaged police equipment.

Even “Stone Cold” Steve Austin rarely attacked police (unless this writer’s memory is really foggy), at least not like that. It became a joke of sorts, where you couldn’t help but laugh when Rousey “drove” a squad car while handcuffed.

This entire segment was so, so bad, like “Plan 9 from Outer Space” bad. People will remember it fondly, but not because it was some incredible, revolutionary segment. It was a forced moment that didn’t need to happen, but had to, because… reasons.
