7 Ways WWE Could Reinvent Braun Strowman

1. Becoming Universal Champion

"And NEW Universal Champion, Braun Strowman." Has a good ring to it doesn’t it?

WWE might think so, with it being reported by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio that Rollins will be getting those hands at Clash of Champions. Why not let him win?

With Rollins toting around his “Beast Slayer” nickname, this could be another great way to let Braun leapfrog Brock’s image as the toughest man on the roster. Having Strowman do what Lesnar couldn’t at SummerSlam would help in getting him out of 'The Next Big Thing's shadow.

And Rollins is himself in need of a bit of a reinvention. Him winning the title back at SummerSlam made sense, but doesn’t seem to have had the intended result so far. Nobody seems to be sold on Seth as champion right now, and a lot of people thought Brock should’ve retained the belt due to Rollins’ star power being at a bit of a low point right now. But Seth regained the belt and still is facing the same problems he did before SummerSlam.

Having Braun beat Rollins, with his aforementioned bare hands, could give Seth a reason to cool off. Let him get kayfabe injured and actually sell the injuries. No more appearing next week to get whupped again. Instead a month or so off, so that Rollins can come back a new man.

This will finally give Strowman the reign he should’ve probably had back in 2017 when he was at the peak of his popularity.

Nevertheless, the big man holding the big belt would be a good step in making him the main event star he should’ve always been. And it would successfully undo a lot of the confusing booking missteps that happened along the way.

And instead of people remembering “who’s next”, people will immortalize these three words:

Get. These. Hands.
