7 WWE TLC 2020: Tables, Ladders & Chairs Impulse Reactions

3. Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler (c) Vs. Asuka & TBD

Nine weeks of Lana going through a table via the bullying actions of Nia Jax was destined to bring us to a match on this specific pay-per-view, though few predicted it would be folded into a Tag Team Championship match featuring 'The Empress Of Tomorrow' and Charlotte Flair.

The "TBD" had been spoiled online hours earlier, though obviously it's not as if there was a pop to ruin. The backstage button-pressers went big on the crowd noise for 'The Queen', but it at least felt oddly believable here.

The division's biggest star was clearly buzzing to be back, particularly with a storyline axe to grind with Jax. Even more so in the final moments of the match, where she helped Asuka become a double Champion by scoring her first ever Women's Tag Team Title win with the Natural Selection on Shayna Baszler.

This match was lots of fun...but Lana was nowhere to be found and no fun match could escape that. 'The Ravishing Russian's revenge won't matter half as much now, if she even gets it. Why would any of us assume that would be the case at this point?
