Understandably you might be reading that and thinking “well, of course Reigns has this sort of PPV record, the guy is being pushed down my throat harder than [redacted for legal reasons]. But, his actually success rate isn’t as impressive as you’d probably think.

It’s often said that beating the Undertaker was the true making of Lesnar - certainly in regards to the monster he’s presented as now - and that Reigns was afforded the same privilege because he was next in line for the same spot.

However, despite Brock having only a solitary (clean) blemish on his record since WrestleMania 30, Roman’s actual win rate on PPV is astonishingly rotten. He has lost twice as many matches as he’s actually won.

4 wins over Cena, Joe, Jinder and in the Elimination Chamber, have been accompanied by losses to Samoa Joe, Bobby Lashley, two from Strowman, three from Brock himself and a failure to win the Royal Rumble. Not exactly a mega push.
