8 Daniel Bryan WWE Dream Matches We'll Never Get To See
7. Brock Lesnar
Had Daniel Bryan not been injured shortly after WrestleMania XXX, this match would have likely taken place at SummerSlam 2014 with The Beast bringing the leader of the Yes Movement's title reign to a brutal end. When rumours pointed to things heading that way, some fans argued that there was nothing to be gained from this bout because of the sheer size and strength difference between the two Superstars, but Bryan's quickness and submission expertise could have turned this into something really special. It's a match which would have worked just as well now as back then too, especially as Lesnar targeting this beloved fan-favourite is exactly the kind of thing that's needed to return him to his much more interesting heel status. Not stepping into the ring with Lesnar and being subjected to multiple suplexes is quite obviously best for Bryan's health in the long run, but with the WWE running out of seemingly indestructible forces to pit their Beast against (whether it's The Undertaker or The Wyatt Family), this encounter would have felt like a real breath of fresh air.
