8 Devastating Moves Watered Down In WWE

5. Pedigree

Aside from a fairly depressing time when he used some sort of facelock falling DDT, Rollins has replaced the Curb Stomp in his arsenal with the Pedigree, a move adopted from none other than The Game himself, Triple H. The move is one of the most protected in the company, and even the 2016 version looks pretty brutal. You are getting dropped on your face after all.

Compare it with the version that Triple H used in his first matches in the company however, and you have yourself night and day. Heck, compare it to Andre the Giant’s variation, and you have a veritable neck snapper of a move.

In many ways, the Pedigree can be compared to Triple H himself. Initially impressive and edgy, it has been watered down over the years to appease those who pay the wages.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
