4. What Next For Seth Rollins?
Is the Lesnar versus Rollins feud over already? Although WWE television has been poor lately (to say the least), Brock's pursuit/intent to kill Rollins was one of the highlights. Brock and Heyman were utterly convincing in their hatred of Rollins. You really believed that The Beast would not stop until the WWE Champion was just a stain on the ring mat. Now that 'Taker is back and gunning for Lesnar, it looks as though the Rollins/Lesnar feud is over. So where does Rollins go from here? Does he somehow get shoehorned into the Lesnar/Undertaker conflict? WWE could always make the SummerSlam match a triple threat, but that doesn't seem like the plan at present. Or, WWE could potentially book The Brothers of Destruction versus Lesnar and Kane. It's an interesting match but, again, one that doesn't make a whole lot of sense. No, the most likely scenario is Rollins versus Kane for the WWE Title. Hardly inspiring stuff, but certainly logical, given the problems between Rollins/Kane over the past couple of months. Rollins versus Kane is not a headline match. If Brock/Undertaker does go down at SummerSlam, that will close the show. Although his reign hasn't exactly set the world on fire, pushing Rollins down the card is a big disservice to the man and devalues not only him but the WWE Title, too.
