8 HUGE WWE Day 1 2022 Predictions You Need To Know

2. Big E (c) Vs. Seth Rollins Vs. Kevin Owens Vs. Bobby Lashley

Better than the original triple threat or any viable singles match, the WWE Championship's four-way feud has found a modicum of fun in an otherwise dull Raw topline.

Big E's Survivor Series loss to Roman Reigns hurt his credibility as Champion significantly, and though he rules the red brand with honour, wit and steel, WWE are incapable of selling the lie that he's their genuine top guy after feeding him to the actual one. In contrast, Bobby Lashley has returned with the fire of a man who wants to own the place again, his inclusion into this mix elevating that which felt tired in his absence.

Both are the babyfaces of this story, but neither will prevail on the night. In fact, they'll be each other's distraction as the wiliest of the quartet makes good on a recent deal with the devil.

Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins' honour-among-thieves relationship has been fun to watch develop, but it has opened up a perfect opportunity for WWE to switch a title without sacrificing the Champion's shoulders. Owens should pin a previously downed Rollins in a moment of ingenious cynicism, broadening that story while leaving Lashley and E to thrash out their own differences ahead of separate Royal Rumble chases.

Winner - Kevin Owens
