8 Japanese Stars WWE Should Sign
1. Kazuchika Okada
'The Rainmaker' Kazuchika Okada might well be the most accomplished wrestler outside of WWE today and it seems unlikely that those in Stamford, Connecticut haven't been keeping a very close eye on him for the last few years.
And with his former CHAOS stablemate Shinsuke Nakamura taking the wrestling world by storm over in NXT, it's only natural to wonder if Okada might fancy joining his friend in Full Sail.
There's just one minor issue: Okada has unequivocally stated that he will "never go to WWE".
But this being wrestling, people go back on their word all the time. And besides, we can dream right?
Perhaps the most improved wrestler in decades, anyone who watched Okada's lackluster run in TNA between 2010 and 2011 would find it hard to believe they were watching the same bloke in New Japan.
At the age of 29, Okada is already enjoying his fourth IWGP championship reign and has churned out classics with just about everyone on the roster, past and present, including Hiroshi Tanahashi, AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakumura, Naomichi Marufuji, Tetsuya Naito, and Tomohiro Ishii.
For a Japanese wrestler, Okada also works a style which could perhaps be most closely compared to the WWE main event style of anyone on the New Japan roster.
With his in ring talent, his character, his presence, and his look, 'The Rainmaker' truly is the total package. However, as the ace of New Japan, would he ever give that up to take a chance in WWE?
