The Four Horsewomen are undoubtedly pioneers in WWE's women's division and deserve to be featured as prominently as they have been lately, but Asuka should be included in the conversation as well.

Similar to Drew McIntyre, she was another NXT alum that got off to a strong start on the main roster and eventually fizzled out due to bad booking decisions. She never fully recovered from her loss to Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 34, despite holding the SmackDown Women's Championship for a solid three-month period earlier this year.

During that reign, she actually defeated Becky Lynch by submission to retain her title in an outstanding affair at the Royal Rumble event. Again, similar to McIntyre, her monumental victory wasn't alluded to whatsoever following Lynch's win in the main event of WrestleMania 35.

Asuka wasn't at all concerned with getting her belt back from The Man and instead shifted her focus to the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. That would have been a fine landing spot for her had she and Kairi Sane unseated The IIconics as champions at some point, but they have failed to capture the twin titles at every turn.

The Empress of Tomorrow better hope she ends up on the same show as Lynch coming out of the upcoming Draft so they can rekindle their rivalry once and for all.
