8 New Directions For WWE After Money In The Bank 2025

4. Naomi Giving Tiffy Her Own Medicine

Becky Lynch set the scene for some beef with Naomi during the post-MITB press conference by alleging that the briefcase winner walked out on her several years ago (when she and the then-Sasha Banks stormed out before Raw and seemed to quit WWE back in 2022). That has to be a side quest for Naomi - going heel vs. heel against Becky wouldn't work as a PLE match, surely.

However, having Naomi give Tiffany Stratton some of her own medicine by cashing in Money In The Bank on her? That's money. Pun intended. There's a chance that Jade Cargill or even Bianca Belair will spoil Naomi’s attempted cash-ins a time or two, but her heel turn has been effective and she deserves a title push in 2025. It looks like Hunter is about to make that happen after bringing Naomi back from TNA.

Some might feel slightly let down that fan favourite Rhea Ripley or fresh star Stephanie Vaquer didn’t win the case on Saturday, but Naomi was the right choice. MITB is better on a heel, because it suits their sneaky behaviour, and she has a danger to her that few other women on the roster possess. On TV, Stratton must start feeling the heat as she looks over her shoulder during matches/segments.

This is Naomi's chance to be a Joker-esque psychological nightmare made flesh. She can toy with Tiffy's emotions and keep everyone guessing by simultaneously flirting with Becky's smart-arsed comments from the presser. Honestly, this could well be the best version of Naomi WWE fans have ever seen.

New champ incoming. Probably.
