Shane OMac, as he was frequently called, went on to compete in a multitude of professional wrestling contests. However, its unclear if he was ever officially trained to be a wrestler or is just a crazy daredevil -- hes most famous for his harrowing falls and dives. Surely, the McMahon son received some training at one point or another, as he grew up around the business. However, Shanes questionable background as an active competitor didnt stop him from getting in the ring and mixing it up with the big boys once in awhile. He even developed a bit of a feud with X-Pac in early 1999 -- as D-Generation X was embroiled in a rivalry with the Corporation. On February 15th of that year, Shane teamed with Corporate Kane and took on DXs Triple H and X-Pac. For whatever reason, Pacs European Championship was on the line. In the end, Shane O'Mac would get the victory and leave with the European title. He would go on to defend it against X-Pac just a month and a half later at WrestleMania XV. Surprisingly, Shane retained, following interference from Triple H -- who had turned on X-Pac and joined the Corporation. The following week on Sunday Night Heat, Shane hid the title in his gym bag, effectively retiring the belt. Some months later, in June, Mideon found the championship and Shane awarded the title to him.
Douglas Scarpa is a freelance writer, independent filmmaker, art school graduate, and pro wrestling aficionado -- all of which mean he is in financial ruin. He has no backup plan to speak of, yet maintains his abnormally high spirits. If he had only listened to the scorn of his childhood teachers, he wouldn't be in this situation.
