8 Things We Learned From Brock Lesnar's Revealing ESPN Interview

3. He's Funnier Than You Might Expect

It's a relatively well-known fact that Brock is a very private individual. Paul Heyman has talked about him not owning a phone, he doesn't do the usual WWE signings and meet and greets, and a video of him seemingly ignoring a fan who approached him in the airport didn't do his image too many favours. However, despite the fact that he's been perceived as maybe a serious or quite unfriendly individual, a fun skit he took part in for SportsCenter appears to prove otherwise. In that, he serves as ESPN's security guard, surprising employees as they turn up for work and even asking one female driver - who clearly didn't recognise him - if he could have lunch with her. At one point, Brock even searches one befuddled guy's boot and quizzes him on whether or not he's going on a picnic because he's driving around with a cooler. It's extremely funny (you can watch it by clicking here), and shows a different side to Brock which is hopefully going to be allowed to shine through on TV more now that he's a fan-favourite. Throughout all of his interviews Brock was cracking jokes though, and while he'd no doubt be happier at home combining wheat (that's what he told them he was planning on doing as soon as he returned home), he comes across as a friendly guy who likes to have fun.
