No one knew what to expect from The Undertaker once he was advertised to appear on the historic 900th episode of SmackDown Live. Of course, with the show set to take place six days before Survivor Series, fans assumed he would join Team SmackDown in their upcoming encounter with Team Raw at the pay-per-view.

After all, he has bled blue for the better part of his career, ever since he joined SmackDown in 2002. Mind you, this marked Undertaker's first appearance on WWE TV since WrestleMania 32, so it was entirely possible the seeds would be planted for a future face-off between himself and another member of the SmackDown roster.

Ultimately, the anticipated occasion was a disappointment. He simply said he would make anyone pay who caused SmackDown to lose at the event, and although the blue brand reigned supreme over Raw in that match, Undertaker made it clear SmackDown was his home.

That was, however, until he showed up on Raw two months later and declared he would appear wherever he pleased. Given he is the iconic Undertaker, it is safe to assume he wouldn't want to sign any kind of a contract, but in that case, he shouldn't have said what he did the night he came back to the blue brand.
