8 Top Challengers For WWE Champion Roman Reigns In 2016

5. Kevin Owens

Most fans have been clamoring for this match-up ever since the 2015 Survivor Series tournament brackets were announced. Once it became clear that the finals would likely see Roman face either his former Shield partner in Dean Ambrose or Kevin Owens, many fans hoped for the latter. That match never happened and in the few moments that fans did see Roman interact with Owens this year, it was clearly something the audience wanted to see more of. A match against KO would be one of the more anticipated contests between two full-time performers and it probably will end up happening in some fashion come 2016. Hopefully, WWE gives it the proper respect and doesn't just throw it away on RAW with little build. Reigns is going to need some believable heels to go over after the feud with the McMahon family eventually comes to an end. Kevin Owens would be a natural choice and considering his accomplishments of winning the Intercontinental Championship and NXT Championship all within one year, a rivalry with Reigns isn't foolish to predict in 2016.
