8. A Surprise, You Say?

Josh Mathews was joined by Impact EVP Scott D'Amore for this week's announcing side of things, with D'Amore subtly dropping an announcement with regards to Hard To Kill and the finals of the Knockouts Tag Team Championships Tournament. We know it will be Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz vs. either Havok and Nevaeh, or Jordynne Grace and Jazz, but there will also be a surprise on hand to crown the new champions.

What this means at the time of writing isn't exactly clear, but one would assume it will be either a guest referee, or a legend to award the new champions their title belts. Either Gail Kim or Madison Rayne would be suitable candidates here, given their history as former Knockouts Tag Team Champions in their own rights. With Rayne reportedly set to leave Impact, this would be a fitting sendoff for 'The Queen Bee'.
