8 Ups & 5 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Dec 22)

7. Never Trust A Karate Man

Despite being crowned the Tag Team of the Year for the second year running, it appears as if The North still can't get back on the same page.

Ethan Page initially seemed back to his usual self on a phonecall with Josh Alexander, leading to 'The Walking Weapon' being open to the idea of continuing The North as a pairing going forward. Instead, though, Josh's second call to 'All Ego' was answered by The Karate Man, ruining all hopes and dreams for North fans worldwide, while also adding further fuel to the fire that is leading to the inevitable dissolution of the Canadian duo.

We're getting Page vs. Alexander in some form, aren't we? There's no other direction this can be leading to. With the news that 'All Ego' is likely departing the company once his contract expires, it only seems logical at this point in the story. A big blowoff at Hard To Kill, which will be an early Match of the Year candidate for the 2021 awards, seems the most obvious place to hold such a match.
