8 Ups & 5 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Dec 22)

6. An Elite Christmas

AEW's Tony Khan and Tony Schiavone were back with yet another paid advertisement this week, and luckily, they were on top form after a bit of a slump in last week's ad. AEW's CEO and commentator duo, as always, ran down the card for tomorrow night's edition of Dynamite, main evented by a World Tag Team Championships showdown between The Young Bucks and The Acclaimed, but that's why this was an interesting paid ad.

Khan noted how Impact had quite an extended doubles division, and appeared to be interested in signing a handful of them. It was at this point where The Good Brothers, The North, and Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz were shown onscreen, subtly hinting at AEW appearances. It's worth pointing out that Khan invited any and all Impact wrestlers to Dynamite for not just this week's episode, but any episode.

It seems inevitable for Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson to head over given their allegiance to Kenny Omega, but the onscreen clips of The North, and Kiera and Tasha left you wondering "what if". We mentioned above that Ethan Page is most likely departing Impact Wrestling once his contract expires - an AEW jump makes the most sense should he hope to continue his online shenanigans away from the ring.
