4. Mercedes Targets Kai Before Gonzalez

In response to Io Shirai's comments on not being done with Raquel Gonzalez and her NXT Women's Championship, Big Mami Cool took some time to declare that she would be a more dominant Champion than 'The Genius of the Sky' ever was.

Yet, the real talking point here was Dakota Kai's clear frustration at being overlooked when it came to the conversation as a whole, seizing what crumbs of mic time she could to explain that "we" beat Shirai to the point of her needing some time to recover, a comment which drew a quizzical look from the champ.

Kai's further comments stating that Mercedes Martinez wasn't worthy of a shot at Gonzalez's belt were then contradicted by Big Mami Cool confessing that she'd be happy to take anyone down in the locker room.

Martinez would later jump on this interview and revealed that she will be facing Kai next week with the view of taking Gonzalez's pal out of the equation, highlighting that 'The Captain of Team Kick' treated Gonzalez like a lap dog. Will Martinez's words plant some seeds of doubt into the Champion's mind, or has she already begun to question her right hand woman on the back of her constant need to pipe up and seize the spotlight in interviews?
