7. A Million Dollar Moment

On the back of Ted DiBiase outbidding Cameron Grimes for an NFT last week, the richest top-hat-wearing man in NXT set his sights on a sparkly new watch throughout the latest edition of NXT.

Refusing to conform to society's expectations, a shirtless Grimes burst into a jewellery store and screamed his demands at a clearly bewildered shop owner. Despite his wrist bling of choice not ticking, making it a clear no-no for the current NXT Champion, Grimes ultimately landed on a watch that was perfect for him. However, this glorious discovery was quickly outdone by the reveal of a "million dollar watch", flaunted by none other than The Million Dollar Man himself.

Sure, it was goofy as all hell, but that's precisely what this gimmick was during its prime. So, if you're going to have Grimes take inspiration from the man himself, this sort of seemingly pointless but no less entertaining exchange is likely the right way to go.

Where does this all lead? Hopefully to the sight of DiBiase managing the savvy investor going forward. But for now, let's just sit back and let out a terrifying gut laugh for ol' times sake.
