2. Lacey Still Not Ready For Primetime

Again, we’ll start with a disclaimer: It’s clear WWE is high on Lacey Evans, and it’s clear she has athletic ability and genuine toughness.

However, Evans has repeatedly shown that she’s not ready for a spotlight. Her match Monday night was the latest example, as opponent Ember Moon easily outshined her in the ring, flying around while fans cheered her on. But when Lacey went on offense, the crowd went to sleep for her restholds. She has her headstand Bronco Buster and the double-jump moonsault, but she has yet to put things together and have a really good match on her part yet.

Throw in a stolen Sharpshooter that she fell down while applying, and you have another muff for the pile.

Evans could someday become a legit focal point of the women’s division, but it’s clear she was called up to the main roster far too soon and would have benefited from more development in NXT.
