2. Lynch/Asuka On Tap

After a spate of disappointing or underachieving feuds, Becky Lynch is desperately in need of a rivalry that can live up to expectations that doesn’t involve a fellow Horsewoman.

Enter Asuka.

Lynch described the Empress of Tomorrow as “one last debt” that she needs to collect: the only woman to defeat The Man fairly, way back at Royal Rumble. That’s quite a length of time to hold a grudge, but these feuds – a champion who has their one opponent they can’t beat – can be a lot of fun if they’re done well.

It didn’t hurt that Asuka came out and called herself “Asuka Two Belts,” a nice jab at Lynch. Becky responded by speaking Japanese, which was a nice touch on her end.

We’ll see where they go from here, but this was a nice little segment, and the wrestling should live up to any words exchanged.
