You can approach Kevin Owens’ tactic of challenging AOP and Seth Rollins directly from two perspectives: It’s either admirable in confronting his opponents head-on rather than getting jumped later, or he’s just insane and a foolish babyface.

But Owens has owned his decision each week, figuring it’s better to call out Rollins and AOP and have them attack him in the open. Monday, he got a shot in on Rollins, rejecting a handshake with a superkick. But he immediately got beat down and stomped, which is about what you can expect.

Smart or not, in the wrestling world, you want a hero (or anti-hero) who doesn’t back down from anyone and is willing to go right at the enemy, even when s/he knows that a beating is coming.
