8 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Nov 28)
7. Who Wants To See Kendrick/Saxton?
Every now and again, Byron Saxton will say something on commentary that doesn’t just make you roll your eyes or groan, it makes you want to see him get pummeled in the ring. After all, he was a competitor on the old NXT “game show” once upon a time.
Monday, Saxton needled Brian Kendrick one time too many, leading the Cruiserweight Champion to verbally lash out, yelling about how his life was in shambles when he was fired from WWE in 2009, that his wife went hungry, and Byron sits there and tweets dumb stuff because he couldn’t hack it in the ring.
It was a great little rant from Kendrick, but it did more to pique interest in seeing Brian beat up Byron than see him fight Rich Swann on 205 Live (they did turn immediately to that feud though). And let’s face it, who wouldn’t want to see Kendrick make Saxton tap out after his latest smug look and inane chatter?
