6. Creating A Feud

Let’s give WWE a shred of credit for trying to build a feud with Braun Strowman and Sami Zayn.

Strowman had been mowing down multiple jobbers at a time until Sami Zayn came along last week. Monday, Strowman got to show a little personality, first when he had his hands on the List of Jericho and asked Y2J why Zayn wasn’t on the list (Sami apparently was on page 4), and then before his match with Sami. Braun demanded to know where his real competition was, inciting Zayn to attack him. That didn’t end well for the former NXT champ.

Some might not like that the feud must continue, but it left off with Zayn recovered (somewhat) in the ring begging Strowman to return, and Braun walking away, having already manhandled Sami to make his point. It’s not going to set the world on fire, but at least it’s building a little and giving Strowman something to do other than beat up no-name wrestlers.
