Announcing Kurt Angle's return to World Wrestling Entertainment ahead of time would be guaranteed to make the company all sorts of money when it comes to network subscriptions and would also be sure to spike a good rating. But would it be as special? I think in our heart of hearts, most WWE fans want Kurt Angle's return to the company to be a complete surprise, much like Shane McMahon's earlier in the year.

It would also be a novel way to finally give us a match between Kurt Angle and Jack Swagger, one that a few years ago would have been of great interest but would now be nothing more than a short squash return for Kurt. Swagger has long been treated as something of a joke, and all that is needed here is for the All American American to suffer one loss too many and snap.

Have Swagger lose to Zack Ryder in two short minutes, only Jack to put the Patriot Lock on Ryder after the match. Swagger then takes a microphone and goes on a tirade, about how's been treated like a joke for too long, before screaming 'I'm an American Hero', over and over.
